The UAE has condemned the Houthi militia’s attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed solidarity with the Saudi government and reiterated support for its measures to tackle extremism.

It added that "any threat or danger to the Kingdom's security is considered a threat to UAE's security and stability".

According to national news agency WAM, the nine civilians injured in Monday's drone attack were one Indian and eight Saudis.

All are in stable condition.
