UAE announces 421 new cases of COVID-19, 490 recoveries

The UAE has announced 421 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 48,667.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), this comes after more than 63,000 coronavirus tests were carried out nationwide.

The ministry has also confirmed that one more person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 315.

Meanwhile, 490 people have recovered from the virus, making the total number of recoveries 37,566 in the country.
