UAE announces 264 new cases of COVID-19, 328 recoveries

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that there are 264 new cases of COVID-19 in the UAE.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Dr. Omar Al Hammadi, the official spokesperson for the UAE Government, revealed that this now brings the total number of cases to 59,177.

This comes after more than 47,000 tests were conducted nationwide.

Al Hammadi said that one more person has died from the virus, which makes the total number of deaths 345 in the country.

He also confirmed that 328 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 52,510.

This means that there are currently 6,322 active cases in the UAE.
