UAE announces 225 new cases of COVID-19, 323 recoveries

The UAE has announced 225 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 62,525.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 61,000 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries in the UAE has gone up to 56,568 after another 323 patients received the all-clear.

The ministry also confirmed that one person has died due to health complications caused by the virus, bringing the death toll to 357.

This means that there are currently 5,600 active cases in the country.
