The UAE has confirmed 1,988 new cases of COVID-19 from 254,944 tests.
Another 2,138 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 458,885.
Meanwhile, four more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,516.
A total of 474,136 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 13,735 are currently active.
