UAE and UN discuss possibility of Palestinian-Israeli peace process revival

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has discussed the prospects of reviving Palestinian-Israeli peace talks with the UN Envoy.

The meeting between Sheikh Abdullah and the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nikolai Mladenov was held in Abu Dhabi.

They explored the possibility of putting Palestinian-Israeli negotiations back on track to strengthen security and stability in the Middle East.

His Highness affirmed that the achievement of peace in the region will herald development and progress as well as help ensure prosperity for its people for generations to come.

Sheikh Abdullah also underlined the UAE's keenness to further cement cooperation with the United Nations and to support all international efforts to promote stability around the world.
