A joint rescue operation led by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the National Guard, Air Force and Air Defence Command, and the UAE Embassy in Muscat, has successfully airlifted Emirati citizens injured in a road accident in Oman.

The victims, who suffered severe injuries, were transferred by air ambulance to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Fujairah for continued treatment, following initial care in Oman. The accident also resulted in fatalities.

The Ministry and National Guard extended their condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a swift recovery to the injured.

They also praised the strong cooperation of Omani authorities, which played a key role in the success of the mission.

The Ministry is urging all UAE citizens to exercise caution when travelling by road, follow traffic laws, and observe speed limits to ensure their safety and that of others.
