The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA) has stated that the situation across the UAE remains stable with "no indications of concern", and clarified that the Iranian missile threats detected early on Sunday were outside the country's borders.

In a post on the social media platform X, the authority also highlighted that precautionary alerts are issued proactively in the UAE, even when the likelihood of the impact is low.

It added that its national monitoring systems are operating 24/7, reassuring its full readiness and efficiency.

The authority also noted that the relevant authorities will continue to monitor developments and share updates across their official channels.

The updates were shared after the UAE's Ministry of Defence had announced earlier that its air defence systems responded to missile and drone threats approaching from Iran.
