More than 2.7 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the UAE so far.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that 86,770 doses of the vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.
The total number of doses provided now stands at 2,764,445.
The UAE has recorded a vaccine distribution rate of 27.95 doses per 100 people.
This is in line with MoHAP's plan to provide the vaccine to all members of society, as well as the efforts to reach acquired immunity to reduce the number of cases and control the spread of the virus.
