Training starts for UAE measles vaccination programme

The UAE’s national campaign against measles has got off to a positive start, with a training session for 120 medical experts. The MMR vaccination programme will start in November. The Ministry of Health is encouraging all citizens and UAE residents to receive a booster jab, regardless of any previous administered vaccinations. Its aim is to ensure 95% of the UAE population is vaccinated- as recommended by the World Health Organization.
