In 2019, we learnt more about the World’s Greatest Show that is Expo 2020 Dubai.

The event is set to be the largest ever staged in the Arab world, with 190 participating countries and over 20 million visitors from across the globe.

Each country will have the chance to showcase their culture, initiatives, inventions and everything in between and beyond.

A day pass will cost AED 120, while a three-day pass will go for AED 260.

Entry is free for children under 5 and seniors over 65, while youth aged 6 to 17 and all students get 50 per cent off.

People of Determination will also be granted complimentary access, with their carers entering for half the price.

If you don’t already know Expo 2020 Dubai have mascots.

Rashid and Latifa who’d like you to experience warm Emirati hospitality at it’s finest, a team of robots named Opti, Alif and Tera and the main face of the event, the magical and wise Gaff tree, named Salama.

Preparations are currently in full swing at the Expo site in Dubai South, in the run-up to the six-month event that starts in October.
