Solar car on display in Abu Dhabi

If you are a fan of solar cars, you should head to the ‘Exhibition of Electrical Industries in Arab World’ being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The Petroleum Institute is displaying its solar car, which has been created in partnership with a Japanese university. According to the national news agency WAM, the vehicle can reach a top speed of 150 km/h while consuming minimum energy. With an aim to create public awareness on the potential of solar energy, the exhibition will run till October 6.
