President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin inaugurated the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Education Centre at Primakov School in Moscow.

This event marks a significant milestone in the UAE's ongoing educational collaboration with Russia.

During the inauguration, the leaders viewed a presentation detailing the centre's curriculum, which emphasises Arabic language education alongside history, culture, arts, and science and technology.

The Primakov School aims to cultivate the intellectual and creative talents of its students and provides scholarships for gifted individuals from around 50 regions in Russia.

Dr. Sergey Kravtsov, Russia's Minister of Education, highlighted the school's commitment to nurturing high achievers and fostering talent.

UAE Ambassador to Russia, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, emphasised the importance of the UAE-Russia partnership in education and recognized Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak’s global initiatives in promoting education and knowledge-sharing.

During the visit both Presidents engaged with students and staff about their experiences with some students speaking in Arabic about the unique educational opportunities available.

The Primakov School, named after the esteemed former Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov, also features quotes from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and President Putin on the importance of education and developing future talent.
