Sharjah Ruler approves more than 4,400 student scholarships

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved 4,434 scholarships for Emirati students at eight higher education institutions in the Emirate.

Children of Emirati women will also be eligible for the scholarships, the announcement on the "Direct Line" programme via Sharjah Radio outlined. 

The scholarships include 3,463 for bachelor's degree, 722 for master's degree and 249 for doctoral programmes.

It will be available to students admitted to University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah, University of Khorfakkan, University of Kalba, University of Al Dhaid, University of Fine Arts, Sharjah Police Science Academy, and Sharjah Academy for Maritime Transport.
