Sharjah Police handles almost 26,000 calls during Eid Al Fitr holiday

Sharjah Police handled almost 26,000 calls through its 901 and 999 control rooms during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.

As many as 23,006 calls were received via the emergency 999 contact line and another 2,818 calls via the 901 number.

The team received and processed reports on criminal activities, traffic violations, inquiries and feedback and forwarded them to the appropriate authorities.

Sharjah Police have been working to improve their response time and the public are urged to dial 999 in case of emergencies.
