Sharjah Taxi has announced 83 per cent of its fleet is now comprised of hybrid and eco-friendly vehicles.
The vehicles that run on both fuel and electricity are part of the emirate's ambitious plan to achieve a fully eco-friendly fleet by 2027.
This aligns with the UAE's broader goals of sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.
Khalid Al-Kindi, General Manager of Sharjah Taxi, emphasised the company's commitment to sustainable development, stating that the continuous development and updating of its fleet supports sustainable transportation solutions.
