Schools in the UAE are welcoming the introduction of unified inspection standards. The Ministry of Education recently released the School Inspection Framework to standardise metrics, for rating institutions. Under the new system, private schools will be rated very weak, weak, acceptable, good, very good or outstanding. Sarah Thomas, Education Manager at Taaleem says, annual inspections are not a good idea.
