Returning residents must obtain entry permits from GDRFA

The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai has clarified that residents returning to the emirate from abroad must obtain an entry permit first.

According to the committee, people can do so through Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) website.

Travelers must also present a certificate proving that they have tested negative for COVID-19, after taking a PCR test prior to boarding the plane and upon arrival at the airport.

All returning residents are required to download the COVID-19 DXB Smart App.

Meanwhile, the mandatory 14-day quarantine period is not applicable to those who have presented a negative test result at the airport.
