Pakistani expats can import hybrid cars without paying customs

Pakistani expatriates in the UAE will soon be allowed to import one hybrid car without paying any custom duty.

The proposal that has been put together by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development (MOPHRD) has been forwarded to the concerned authorities and an approval is expected on the same.

Currently Pakistanis who wish to import cars have to pay anywhere between 60-100% as Custom Duty on it.
