One injured as authorities contain fire at Fujairah Oil Industry Zone

Authorities have confirmed that specialised teams continue to control a fire that broke out at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) on Saturday due to fallen debris, with one injury recorded.

The authorities clarified that the debris was due to a successful interception from the UAE's air defence systems, with the Fujairah Media Office earlier reporting that a fire broke out in Fujairah. 

On Sunday morning, it was confirmed by Reuters that oil-loading had resumed at the Fujairah port.
