Investigations and search operations are underway to track down the parents of a newborn baby abandoned on the doorstep of a villa in Sharjah. The one-month old girl was found on Monday morning by the villa owner, who reported the incident to police. The baby has been taken to Al Qasimi Hospital for treatment and is now in good condition. Last month, four children were abandoned in Sharjah. A three-year old boy was found on a beach, while the others were left in a parking lot, hospital waiting area and garbage bin.
