Pupils at UAE schools following the British Curriculum will now have their own bespoke exam papers. Education company Oxford International AQA are introducing new exams in English, Maths and Science, tailored specifically for English speakers living in the Middle East. Exams will also be scheduled at locally-convenient times. It’s hoped the new qualifications will help youngsters in the Middle East develop the skills they need to thrive in the world’s knowledge-based economies. Andrew Hall, Chief Executive of AQA, explains why special exams are necessary.
