As many as 110 new eco-friendly buses are now on the emirate’s roads.

According to Sharjah's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the vehicles are compatible with European emission standards, making them low on fuel and energy consumption.

They also feature advanced safety standards as well as dedicated spaces for people with special needs.

The buses have been added to the fleet at a cost of AED 70 million.
