Additional movement restrictions have come into effect in Abu Dhabi today.
As reported by ARN News Centre earlier this week, authorities have imposed a week-long ban on people travelling into or out of the emirate as part of efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
This means that residents of Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and Al Dhafra can only travel within their regions during this period.
Exemptions are available by special permits for employees of vital sectors, chronic disease patients visiting hospitals and for those transporting necessary goods.
The movement permits can be obtained through the Abu Dhabi Police website.
