More than 1,100 beggars arrested in Sharjah

As many as 1,111 beggars have been arrested in Sharjah in the first 10 months of 2022.

The authority has urged the public not to show sympathy to such individuals and to make donations only to registered charities.

It has also called on people to report suspicious activities on the toll-free number 901, through the Sharjah Police's website or via the Sharjah Police smart app.
