Sheikh Mohammed honours ‘Dubai Media Pioneers’

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai attended the annual Dubai media gathering on Wednesday.

During the gathering, Sheikh Mohammed honoured prominent Emirati media personalities for their pioneering contributions to local media development.

An initiative of the Dubai Media Council, Dubai Media Pioneers seeks to celebrate pioneering Emirati media professionals who have made significant contributions to the local industry’s development. The initiative seeks to raise the visibility of their contributions, enabling the industry to benefit from their expertise.

His Highness also emphasised the media's role in the UAE's development and encouraged the younger generation to draw from the pioneers' experiences. 

The event, also attended by senior officials and media leaders, highlighted the commitment to advancing the UAE's media industry. 

The Dubai Media Pioneers initiative celebrated the contributions of these professionals, reinforcing Dubai's position as a hub for media excellence and innovation.
