Residents are advised to be careful when planning their New Year's Eve celebrations, as more rain is expected in parts of the UAE.
The NCMS has issued a weather warning as convective clouds are forming on UAE's coast.
Residents must take extra caution must be taken when planning outdoor activities.
Areas affected by the rain in UAE include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Maleha, Kalba, Masafi, Khorfakkan, Dibba, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
