Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), has received his first shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in Dubai.
He joins a long list of senior officials who are taking part in the Dubai Health Authority's free vaccination drive.

Younus Al Nasser, Assistant Director General of SmartDubai and CEO of the Dubai Data Establishment, also received his primary jab today.

Frontline workers, Dubai residents over the age of 60, and those with chronic diseases are being given priority ahead of the second phase of the rollout in April.
