Human Resources Authority to be established in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi has established a Human Resources Authority following a law issued by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. According to national news agency WAM, the Authority will specialise in developing the capital’s general policies for human resources. It will also draft, develop and oversee the executions of plans for Emiratisation at government companies. The new authority will replace the Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council and the Abu Dhabi government leadership centre at the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
