His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has expressed pride at the achievements of the Dubai Crown Prince in the second excerpt from his new book, "The Letters".

In a post shared on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed shared the special message to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as he completes 20 years as Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai.

In his letter, posted in his new book, Sheikh Mohammed applauds Sheikh Hamdan for his chivalry, courage, humility and enthusiastic spirit, alongside his role as an inspirational figure to the youth.

"I'm proud of you because you have carved for yourself a unique path, blazed a new trail, and taken from me and from our family experiences to create something no one before you has achieved."

Sheikh Mohammed also shared his advice, noting that the community needs a "ruler who listens before he governs, shows mercy before he punishes, gives before he is asked, and reaches the people before he is reached".

"I see you only as great and noble, Hamdan, loving of humanity, striving for good, hastening to noble deeds, and you are worthy of noble deeds as they are worthy of you," His Highness concluded, praying for the Crown Prince's success and protection.

Sheikh Mohammed had earlier posted the first letter from his book that pays tribute to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
