Dubai will continue to play a key role in shaping the future of global travel and tourism, guided by innovation, strong partnerships and an ambitious vision.

That's the message from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister.

He made the remarks during a visit to the 33rd edition of Arabian Travel Market at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Running until September 17, the event brings together travel and tourism leaders, companies and organisations from the UAE and around the world.

Sheikh Hamdan said Dubai’s hosting of Arabian Travel Market reinforces its position as a leading global destination and highlights its ability to bring together industry leaders to explore new opportunities for growth.

He added that the event provides an important platform for cooperation, knowledge exchange and new partnerships that can support the future of the tourism sector.

During his tour, Sheikh Hamdan visited several pavilions, where he reviewed new products, services and initiatives aimed at enhancing the traveller experience.

The event is focusing on major trends reshaping global tourism, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, changing traveller expectations and sustainable growth.
