Groom detained in Ras Al Khaimah for violating COVID-19 safety rules

A man has been arrested in Ras Al Khaimah for violating COVID-19 safety regulations at his own wedding party.

Police said the groom also posted videos of the wedding guests on social media.

He has been referred to the Public Prosecution and will face legal action.

Ras Al Khaimah Police have urged the public to comply with the safety regulations implemented by the UAE government to curb the spread of coronavirus.
