Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA), has carried out an inspection of the Dubai International Airport on the first day of Eid Al Adha.
It's aimed to ensure smooth flow of operations during one of the region's busiest travel seasons.
He and a team of senior officers from GDRFA and Dubai Police were seen speaking to staff and checking the processes in place at the arrival and departure halls across Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

The nine-day Eid break is one of the airport’s most important annual peak travel seasons.
According to Dubai Airports, Sunday, May 31, is expected to the busiest day for travel, with 194,580 passengers expected to pass through, while the busiest day for departures was Saturday, May 23, with more than 67,000 people travelling through.
