UAE residents have sent over AED 107 billion to different countries. That’s according to a World Bank Report, which highlights the GCC as the world’s largest outward remittance market. The top destinations that UAE residents send money to include India, Pakistan, Egypt and The Philippines. Other countries with high remittances include Saudi Arabia, which had a total of over AED 163 billion and Kuwait, which had a total of over AED 43 billion.
