A dialogue between the European Union (EU) and the GCC has started in Brussels. According to the national news agency WAM, the meeting is focused on the impact of lower oil prices to the economies of both regions. Officials say the drop in oil prices has been helpful for growth in the EU, but the 28-member union needs to prepare for developments in the future. They add it’s an issue of diversification for the oil-producing GCC nations.
