GCC aviation industry set to lead passenger and cargo numbers

The GCC is expected to become the busiest region globally for aviation passenger and cargo traffic. That’s according to a report by Alpen Capital, who say a large expatriate population who travel frequently to their home countries and the region's strategic geographic location are big influential factors. With this, aviation experts are calling for a unified body from the region to focus on managing this growth. ARN spoke to the Director of Babylon International, Ram Muthaiah who would support a GCC-wide aviation body.
