The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the completion of the transfer of passengers to Tel Aviv following the temporary suspension of flydubai flights to the destination.
Since Friday, October 2, a total of 37 flights have operated from Dubai International Airport to Ben Gurion Airport, carrying 7,479 passengers.
As part of measures to provide alternative travel options, the relevant UAE authorities granted permits to Israeli carriers to operate flights to Dubai, alongside Etihad Airways services.
The GCAA confirmed that coordination efforts for passengers whose travel plans were disrupted have been completed, with stranded travellers returning to their destinations.
It added that Etihad Airways continues to operate scheduled flights to Tel Aviv, providing additional travel options for passengers.
The GCAA says it remains in coordination with relevant authorities and airlines to support the continuity of air transport and passenger services.
