The final verdict in the case of a pupil who died after being locked in a school bus in Abu Dhabi has been issued. The Court of Cassation has ordered Al Worood Academy Private School, the bus driver and supervisor to pay AED 100,000 as blood money to the victim’s family. The driver and supervisor are currently serving six-month and one-year jail sentences. Four-year old Nizaha Aalaa, a KG1 pupil, died from heat exhaustion in October last year.
