The UAE’s role in promoting tolerance has been commended by the European Institute for International Relations.
The organisation’s President, Inerio Seminatore, hailed the upcoming visit of Pope Francis to the Emirates, describing it as a milestone in interfaith dialogue.
He added that the visit demonstrates the high regard in which the UAE is held globally.
Seminatore also underlined the importance of the meetings to be co-held by the Pope and Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb.
