Etihad Rail’s first passenger station completed

Etihad Rail’s first passenger station has been completed in Fujairah, marking a major milestone for the UAE’s national rail network.

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah visited the station to review progress.

He was accompanied by Fujairah's Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Etihad Rail.

They were briefed on the services set to be offered once full passenger operations begin.

The delegation also reviewed development projects in Qidfa, led by the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, aimed at supporting UAE villages and promoting sustainable growth.
