The ban on entry to Abu Dhabi remains in place even after the completion of the UAE's National Sterilisation Programme.
According to the Abu Dhabi Media office, pre-exempted categories will continue to be allowed to enter the emirate, while those who want to leave will not need a permit to do so.
Meanwhile, residents are now allowed to move freely within the emirate at all hours as there are no more movement restrictions between 10 pm and 6 am.
