Dubai shuts one outlet, fines 7 more for COVID-19 safety violations

Authorities in Dubai have ordered the closure of a business for flouting safety rules set to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Seven outlets were fined and two more issued warnings after teams from Dubai Economy and Dubai Sports Council carried out inspections.

The authorities have urged the public to report any violations through the Dubai Consumer app.⁣
