Nearly 100 cartons of expired tobacco products worth around AED 60,000 have been confiscated by authorities in Dubai.
The items belonging to different brands were seized from warehouses in Ras Al Khor area.
Packages of expired honey were also confiscated during the inspections carried out by the municipality, in coordination with the Federal Tax Authority and the Federal Customs Authority.
The products were later destroyed, while the company involved in the trade was fined.
