That's according to Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), which said its average electricity Customer Minutes Lost (CML) per year of 1.06, compared to around 15 minutes recorded by leading utility companies in the European Union.

DEWA also broke its previous record of 1.19 minutes per customer, reported in 2022.
