Dubai Municipality received more than 100 emergency reports amid the unstable weather conditions on Saturday.

There were 69 reports of fallen trees in various neighbourhoods and internal roads, as well as 16 reports of fallen trees on Dubai's main roadways.

The Municipality also received 18 requests for rainwater to be drained from road surfaces.

The authority said it has taken preventive measures and has put its emergency response teams on standby, while additional workers have been deployed to monitor garbage disposal procedures and to deal with rainwater pools and clogged drains.

It also reminded the public to call the hotline 800900 to report any emergencies related to adverse weather conditions.
