Dubai approves 2,000 residential plots for citizens

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has approved the immediate allocation of 2,000 residential plots at Umm Nahad 4 for eligible citizens.

The decision by Sheikh Hamdan, in his capacity as the head of the Development and Citizens Affairs Committee, follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai.

It's part of the UAE government's efforts to provide its citizens with social stability and enhance their quality of life.

UAE nationals who have obtained approvals from the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment will benefit from the allotment, which will begin on Wednesday, July 27.

The government has also introduced the Maskanj app that "allows citizens to choose their preferred location", with priority given to members of the same family.

The move comes as Sheikh Mohammed approved a historic housing budget of AED 65 billion for citizens over the next 20 years, and alerted the housing loan for them.
