Dubai has ranked second in the world in a new index which ranks the best cities for remote working conditions.

The emirate comes in just after Melbourne in the 'Work-from-Anywhere' Index by housing platform Nestpick

The cities were scored across three broad categories - costs & infrastructure, legislation & freedoms, as well as livability.

Sydney, Talinn and London round out the top five.
