The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has received full institutional accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).

According to a top health official, the accreditation, which is valid for four years, was awarded by the SCFHS after a thorough evaluation of the DHA’s medical education facilities and services.

Faculty were also assessed on their ability to effectively provide SCFHS-approved programmes.

The accreditation means that the DHA’s medical education training programmes are in line with the Saudi commission’s regulations and accreditation standards.
