Date set for Sultan Al Neyadi's return to UAE

Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi is set to return to the UAE next week.

According to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), Al Neyadi's homecoming is set for Monday, September 18.

He returned to Earth earlier this month following the completion of the longest Arab space mission in history.

On Tuesday, Al Neyadi made his first media appearance since returning to Earth following his historic mission.

During the NASA press conference, alongside other members of Crew-6, Al Neyadi emphasised the importance and value of the scientific experiments conducted aboard the International Space Station.

He also spoke about the continuity of the UAE National Space Programme and its plans for the future.
