COVID-19: UAE announces 239 new cases; no deaths

The UAE has announced 239 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 62,300.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 63,700 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries in the country has gone up to 56,245 after another 230 people received the all-clear.

The death toll remains 356 as no fatalities have been reported over the past 24 hours.

The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 5,699.
